It is time
It is time for you all to get excited and start following the journey of the Re-Loved Project. 2015 is massive for the Feast Watson project, look at the designer line up Mark Tuckey, Steve Cordony, Tara Dennis, Debbie Bibby & David Moses, Olivia Shead, Kristine Franklin, Helen Edwards and me!
Today I can show you all the final project of my drawers. Completed and ready for the Ebay Auction that starts on the 8th July. My previous blog post showed the 'before', if you missed that see below...
Now the excitement of the AFTER....
My inspiration this year for the project was adding the piece into a children's room or nursery. A modern look that will grow with the child and can be added to any room.
Using a natural colour palette for any child's room which allows it to be mixed and matched.
A little more about this amazing Project that you can get involved too, The Feast Watson Re-Love Project follows the up-cycling or 're-love' journey of numerous Australian designers above. Using a range of Feast Watson woodcare products, the designers transform a worn piece of timber furniture into a stunning, unique statement piece. You will have a chance to take home one of these beautiful timber creations, as when completed, all re-loved Feast Watson items will be auctioned on eBay, with proceeds going to Salvos Stores.
You can follow all the transformations on Instagram and Pinterest and at the end of the project you will have a chance to bid on the completed items, including mine, when each designer’s creation will be available for sale on eBay from 8 July to 17 July, with all proceeds donated to the Salvos Stores.
A big Thank you to Evolve Kids Store Pergian Beach for the bag of goodies to style with and The Wall Collective for the triangle handmade handles.
